Put music in your ears. Always carry water with you and something sugary, like an energy bar or something. Eat and drink when you feel anxious. Use tumblr while commuting, a happy tag or something can help you relax. It helped me once. And then have something with you that you feel can bring comfort to you. I have a tiny little fluffy dinosaur attached to my bag I like to hold. (Sounds stupid, I know 😂)
Just make the area around you as comfortable as possible to you. Take your shoes off, or jacket. Take your hair down or wear it up. Barricade the seat next to you with your stuff so you get breathing space.
Thank you 💜 Being on Tumblr while commuting would be a bit difficult since I don’t want to use all my data and I won’t have Wi-Fi but I always read on my phone when I’m on a bus or train (both of which I have to take tomorrow) so I’ll keep doing that. The idea of bringing something with me to comfort me is actually really good. I don’t think I have something like that yet. I actually wouldn’t really know what to bring, tbh. At least not something physical. The Midnight Memories album always comforts me so that’s permanently on my phone and I always have my earphones with me in case I’ll need it.
