Dopo il primo EP "Double" uscito nel 2021 i Lemon Lemon, band divisa tra le città di Manchester e Treviso, tornano con un nuovo album di 8 tracce.
"The Harvest" vuole essere un disco più maturo con un sound ampio e vario: post-punk, pop e rock psichedelico si mescolano insieme per una macedonia aspra e fresca.
Il lavoro è durato 2 anni nei quali le tracce sono state condivise ed elaborate a distanza dai musicisti, aprendosi anche a collaborazioni con artisti locali inserendo tastiere, sintetizzatori, fiati e percussioni che ne hanno contaminato il sound finale.
Il nuovo album rappresenta tutte le idee sviluppate dal trio dopo “Double” e lasciate a maturare, attendendo il momento giusto per essere raccolte.

Psych Pop aspro e dissetante, giallo come i limoni, Lemon Lemon è una polaroid sbiadita. È uno sguardo caleidoscopico sul mondo. Un collettivo di artisti tra Treviso e Manchester, uno scambio di idee, percezioni e sensazioni che si fonde nella filosofia DIY.
"Hammock" è il primo singolo dei Lemon Lemon in uscita il 16/06/2023 che anticipa l'uscita di "The Harvest".
"Hammock" è un inno alla libertà, al piacere di godere di un momento di relax lontano dalla quotidianità ultraconnessa e frenetica, al puro gusto dell'esistenza.
Il suo sound dirompente parte dalla città, il suo eco vuole arrivare fino a quel posto tranquillo dove dondolarsi in riva al mare su un amaca.

Stephen MArinick ~ This one hurts, Stephan was an effortless human and as sweet as they come. Even though we lost contact over the years Stephen had been a huge part of my life. JR Achievement and Harvest were one of the first bands that let me drag them around and take their photos, when I really had no idea what I was doing. Stephen believed that I could sing and helped me live out my rock star dreams. Our short lived band, “HOOKS FOR HANDS '' with Christie Winn and Lloyd Whitter was a highlight of my 20’s. I got the taste of the rockstar life and confirmed it was not for me. TWO funny memories: -When we were writing songs, I would record 30 second rifts of samples and drums, and make it my answering machine's message. Steve would call my machine 30 times in a row to listen to the rhythm and noise, as Christie and I layed in bed counting the number of times he called. -After one of our gigs we all went over to Steve's parents house: They had a bar / lounge, never seen that before… Steve introduced me to a boiler maker, never been so drunk, well maybe later in life, but not until then.
