I haven’t seen it yet, but maybe it’s how stiff Emma looks. There’s a lot of fluid motion in the animation that doesn’t translate in the live version. Also, like you mentioned, the colors look really washed out.
Yeah you said it, it lost a lot of fluidity! It’s a pity because the scene could have been so gorgeous, and it started well, but at some point the light became grey-ish?
ALSO yeah I have nothing against Emma, and I don’t know if you meant it like this but in the whole movie she looked so stiff??? I’m not talking only about her expression, but her body language too. I think the only time I liked what she was generally doing was in Belle-reprise. I may have to watch the movie again, in english this time, because as good as the italian dub usually is I fear that this time it really didn’t work...also some of the new translations of the songs sounded reeeally awkward
