I'd intended on Friday to write a "look at my lovely wood" post, but an unwanted encounter with some wind blown splinters led me instead to Swindon A&E and I've been convalescing on the sofa ever since I got home. This painful inconvenience (a scratched cornea) happened *despite* having been wearing safely glasses! On windy days closer fitting protection is clearly necessary. Nobody wants to have an accident, but when you do it's a blessed relief to have our fantastic NHS available at all hours to sort things out.
