                     just as she’s about to settle down to work on something, there’s a tap on her window. some people might’ve been startled to find their best friend hanging outside her room on the second floor but this wasn’t unusual for daphne-- they both did this so often, she might as well have put a welcome sign above her window for him. the girl opened it up, stepping aside to give him space but something outside caught her eye. “is there something going on out there? looks like there are cops are coming.”

there’s  a  gleam  of  mischief  that  colors  noel’s  gaze  as  he  watches  familiar  figure  cross  the  street.  a  hand  snaps  up  to  wave  at  him,  grin  friendly  if  a  little  on  edge;  he  tends  to  do  that  sometimes,  he  finds,  an  air  of  cockiness  surrounding  even  the  most  seemingly  HARMLESS  of  gestures.  regardless  ––  homme  beams  when  the  other  makes  his  way  to  him.  “hey,  you.”  noel  greets  him  warmly,  pinching  at  kol’s  cheeks  in  a  display  of  affection.  “i  hope  you  didn’t  have  too  much  trouble  finding  the  place;  got  us  tickets,  too.”  free  hand  holds  them  up;  underground  concerts  are  always  fun,  especially  with  someone  he  wants  to  get  to  know  a  little  closer.  the  hand  that  pinches  at  cheeks  slides  down  to  kol’s  forearm,  and  noel  tugs  him  close,  grin  broad.  “you  ever  been  ‘round  these  parts  ?”    /    @theidiotden​      !

                 with  jae’s  arms  wrapped  around  her  waist  comes  the  feeling  of  security  ,  like  everything  is  safe  and  sound  now  that  he’s  here.  when  realizing  that  it’s  exactly  what  nora  needs  in  that  moment  ,  her  shoulders  shake  a  little  along  with  the  tears  that  have  started  to  spill  from  her  watery  eyes.  ‘’  jae  ,  ’’  she  quietly  whispers  ,  head  hanging  low  for  a  moment  and  aware  it’s  a  little  awkward  for  the  other  to  be  hunched  forward  and  give  her  a  hug  like  this.  it’s  why  the  female  slowly  gets  up  and  quickly  rounds  the  swing  ,  nearly  crashing  into  her  best  friend’s  arms  and  hiding  her  face  away  in  his  shoulder.  between  the  quiet  sobs  and  sniffling  ,  soft  murmurs  are  spoken  with  her  lips  brushing  past  the  boy’s  skin.  ‘’  i  don’t  think  i’m  happy  ,  jae.  just  ——  just  hold  me  ,  please.  ’’ / @theidiotden​
