I created this Pinterest board to showcase resources related to the book The Impact Equation.
52 Books A Year
I'm back into this again. Summer is winning against me in the battle of boredom. No longer. I am now reading a book a week. Roughly forty pages a day, or forty-five minutes of reading.
It's cool to think that I will could finish 52 books in a year if I started in January. I did this for about a month and half and I should have kept going.
Oh well. Here we go! I just finished The Impact Equation by Julien Smith and Chris Brogan. Definitely worth perusing and applying in your every day actions, especially as an entrepreneur.
Next up is POWER! How to get it, how to use it by Michael Korda.

Today's Thought - The Human Element
I'm reading a book right now called The Impact Equation by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith.
Three primary aspects in impact are the ideas, platform, and human element. Without a healthy balance in the three, one cannot successfully positively impact the world.
The ability to connect with other people with care and empathy is paramount in the human element. It's what enables communities to do great things. You can have great ideas and an immense platform to spread them, but without communication and connection and synergy, no one will want to cooperate with you.
I'm keeping those three words on my mind in all that I do this week. Creative and unique ideas, a wide platform, and a developed human element.
You should too. How are you balancing these today?
