Freddie was terrified. He had taken Effy's advice and decided to give Cook a ring, telling him that they were to meet up at the shop where they had gone the first day of college. Freddie sat at the table they always used to sit at, waiting nervously for Cook. Freddie's fingers tapped on the table, his beer sitting untouched in front of him. I hope he doesn't hate me... Freddie thought, not knowing if his best friend had changed over the past four years. Freddie looked around as he heard footsteps coming, and saw his best friend. Freddie waved Cook over to the table, even more nervous than before.
