Inktober 04 - The Jersey Devil

The Jersey Devil was born in 1735 on a stormy night, the 13th child of a woman in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. It emerged as a twisted monstrocity, with a forked tail and the head and hooves of a goat. It slayed the midwife and opened its leathery wings, flying off into the night and landing at Stinky Dan’s Burger Dive™, where it won the Ten Pound Gut Buster challenge in record time. They put its photo on the wall, cementing its legacy.

Meh. Another “monster of the week” episode.  Except this episode is pretty bad. I’m not sure what they were going for in this one, but it wasn’t plausible.  Some carnivorous caveman (and cavewoman) -- or should I say neanderthal -- are roaming around the area, snatchin’ people up and eating them.  Umm. Pass.

At least we got some potential Scully / Mulder flirting scenes... kinda?  I know they like each other.
