A "Detox" For The Mind
Try The Joker Project, it truly can help. For steps, go to our blog, as it is posted as a link :)
The Joker Project
For the ones that are using drugs- you can accomplish things in life, that doesn't require smoking a joint and such. Unless you’re doctor has approved of you having drugs, or if it’s for something medical, don’t have it. Here’s the alternative The Joker Project (this is my favorite, a tribute as well):
1) get a diary, journal, or notebook.
2) Get a pencil, a black pen, a purple pen, and a green pen. (those colors only!)
3) Write your name on the cover of the page, and the day you first wrote in it.
4) keep the first few pages blank.
5) Within each page write your feelings (cliche, I know :( ). At the end of the page, you put the name “JOKER” at the bottom, but a box next to it, You decide if you felt pessimistic, angry, greedy, mad, depressed, apathetic, etc (The Joker’s traits). If so, tick the box. Title each page that your write down with the issue (Suicidal, cutting, etc) or if you’re into drugs, the type of drugs you used (Meth, cocaine, etc).
6) Write your introduction, why you got in this mess in the first place, and write your story.
7) Once you have finished your notebook, or you think you have accomplished enough, look at each page and see how many “JOKER” boxes you ticked. If it is the majority, then you have to continue the notebook, until most pages are not ticked (this will see if you’re getting better). If not, get the introduction/ your story, and rip it out.
8) Burn it and see it burn, for you should let go of your issues, and start fresh.
9) Put your ending date of accomplishment on the cover of the page, so you have seen how long it took you.
10) Lastly, title the book “Why So Serious?”.
*Note, this is getting to know yourself, and how to recover by doing to old fashioned “mano a mano”. If you need serious medical help, we advise for you to do so before it’s too late.
