Scene for MC and Ka in a pool
MC and Ka get rid of their clothes, keeping on their underwear before making their way into the pool. The warmth of the water on MC’s skin almost seems to have a therapeutic effect as they instantly feel relaxed.
"The water feels so good," MC hear K chuckle.
As Ka doesn't get a response, they look over at MC, half-submerged under the water and eying them with a mischievous grin in their eyes.
"Are you okay?" Ka asks.
"I was wondering..." MC starts. "Have you ever... have you ever done it in a pool?"
"Do what in a pool?" Ka arches an eyebrow.
MC swims closer and pulls Ka in for a kiss before murmuring, "Have sex in a pool..."
“I think what you want to know is... if I want to have sex with you in this pool, and the answer is yes. I want to,” Ka grins.
MC pulls Ka in for another kiss, causing the water to ripple around them.
MC’s fingers tangle into Ka’s wet blue hair. Both of their bodies remain locked together, freely floating in the pool as they grind against each other.
MC lowers a hand under the water, bypassing the underwear to reach in between Ka’s legs.
wait, does mc's mom in midningt keeper didn't know that we're not straight if we dating ro who are the same gender as we? Does our sister also didn't know this fact before mc and ro officially dating?

No MC’s mother doesn’t know. She knows about MC’s gender identity, but not MC’s orientation. (Although, there is a specific scene that only happens with Ashley in book 1, where MC get to say if their parents know, and it is a multiple-choice option for MC to choose from.) But overall, they don’t know.
The sister knows about both MC’s gender identity and sexual orientation as they talk about it right at the beginning of book 1. And she mentions it again in the demo of book 2.
That is why in the upcoming update you’ll get to bring your RO to dinner with your mother and Boiiii, it’s going to be fun. 😁

L stands by quietly, listening to the conversation unfolding between MC and a newcomer. L blushes as the newcomer states to MC, "You're so cute when you smile."
A wave of thoughts submerges L's brain. Wait? Is the newcomer flirting with MC? It can't be. I'm standing right here. Obviously, the newcomer can see me, L thinks to themself.
L continues to listen in. "Oh, that place is so cool. I can take you there if you want to check it out," The newcomer says to MC.
L blushes to a deeper shade of red. I should say something, right? I should tell the newcomer to back off. It's one thing to talk to MC, but blatantly flirting with MC and ignoring the person that MC is with?
L bites their lower lip and adjusts the glasses on their nose.
Okay, I'm going to say something. I hope MC won't get mad at me, but I can't take it any longer. I can't bear the thought of that newcomer stealing the heart of MC away from, stealing my MC...
L's thoughts are cut short as a blank stare draws on their face...
My MC their repeated in their head... MC is mine.... I... I want MC all to myself, and it's only because I...

Until now, those thoughts and words had never really crossed L's mind. L knows they like MC, they like spending time with MC, like MC's weird laugh, and even like the strange way MC holds the controller when they play videogame together. But, love... L had never thought about it this way.
A soft smile draws on L's face, and they awkwardly giggle. That's all it takes for MC to interrupt the conversation with the newcomer and look back at L.
MC: "Are you okay, L?"
L: Smiles at MC and slide their hand in one of MC's hand, intertwining their fingers together. "I'm fine, now... I just realized... I just realized that you're mine."
The newcomer takes the hint and walks away. The newcomer looks back at the lost opportunity of getting MC's number, and notices that L and MC are still looking into each other's eyes, a newly discovered joy on their face, or maybe... just maybe... it's what people call 'love' these days.
K is walking around the park with MC, and someone stops MC to ask MC a question.
A short conversation starts between MC and the newcomer, and K doesn't seem to pay attention to it. K is looking around, breathing the fresh air, clenching and unclenching their fists. It's all seems normal until MC's bright laugh resonates behind K.
K looks back and notices MC's head tilted backward, laughing. A stinging sensation grows inside K's chest as they feel their heart skip a beat. MC is happy, laughing. MC is enjoying the company of someone else. Someone that is not you, K, a voice in K's head murmurs.
K looks away and clenches their fist tighter. MC lets out another laugh, and the pain in K's chest grows stronger. It's more painful than being punched in the face, more painful than a giant snake squeezing and breaking the bones in K's body.
K takes another look at MC and the newcomer. K can't hear anything about the conversation because they are too far away, but the joyful and satisfying smile on MC's face is...
"Why Am I reacting this way?" K mutters under their breath. MC is only talking to someone, someone that seems to bring them joy. I have no right to claim MC's affection and attention strictly to myself. MC is free to talk to whoever they want to... K thinks to themself.
The voice in K's head becomes louder, saying. Yes, MC is free to give affection to whoever, but you want to be the one that makes MC's face light up. You want to be the one that makes MC laugh out loud. You want to be the one that makes MC happy, the one that loves MC...
Love! You love your father, you love your mother, and you love Benny with all your heart. But what you feel for MC is... stronger.. deeper... hungrier...
Do you want to know why there is a stinging pain in your chest, K? Why you're reacting this way? It's because you're jealous. You're jealous that you're not at the receiving end of the affection that MC is displaying right now.
There is one thing you can do, K. You can show MC what they really mean to you, the voice concludes.
K straightens their back and unclenches their fists, walking straight to MC and the newcomer.
"MC..." K starts.
Both MC and the newcomer turn to look at K. MC gives a soft smile to K, while the newcomer frown from being interrupted.
K doesn't add a word more and goes straight for MC's lips (or forehead).
It's a sweet, and long kiss that expresses everything that K wanted to say. Everything that they feel inside their heart.
The newcomer dies inside, and, "I think Imma go now."
But neither K nor MC reply, both of their eyes locked onto each other.
A is walking around the Mall with MC, and someone stops MC to ask MC a question.
A takes advantage of the interruption and goes for some ice cream at the nearest shop. As the order takes some time to be filled, Ashley glances at where MC is standing and notices that the newcomer is still at it conversating with MC.
Ashley shakes her head smiling. This newcomer thinks they're sleek, trying to flirt with MC under the pretense of asking a question. It's not the first time for Ashley to be in a situation like. Now, she can spots those flirtatious strangers from miles away.
She collects her ice cream order and walks back to MC and the newcomer. As she reaches MC, she sticks one of her fingers in the ice cream and licks it, making a loud pop sound as her finger comes out of her mouth.
Both MC and the newcomer stop talking and look at Ashley.
She smiles at MC, "You want some babe? I got your favorite flavor."
She digs another finger into the ice cream, then leans it toward MC's face.
The newcomer gulps uncomfortably. "Uhh... Nice meeting you MC. I think I know where the store is."
As the newcomer disappears, MC turns to Ashley. "Did you really had to do that?"
Ashley shrugs, "Do what?"
"Scare the newcomer the way you did? We were just talking you know."
Ashley smiles, "Oh sweet MC. You're too pure for this world. That newcomer was flirting and trying to get your number."
"No they weren't."
"Yes they were," Ashley replies with a grin. "Now, are you going to lick my ice cream covered finger or what?"
MC is sitting on a bench, waiting for Mack to finish his shift at the food truck.
Mack notices someone approaching MC, and from where he is standing, he can tell that the newcomer is about trying their best pick-up line on MC.
Mack grins. That newcomer really thinks they have a chance with MC. Mack's grin fades into a frown. Does that newcomer have a chance with MC?
There was no clear definition for whatever it was that Mack and MC had. Yes, they've been spending a lot of time together lately, getting closer and... even sharing something more. But there was no label attached to the relationship.
Relationship? Mack thinks to himself. Could he really be in another one of those right now? Especially after what happened with Lex?
Sure, MC wasn't Lex, far from that. And if there was someone that could ever handle Mack's fire, it definitely would be someone like MC, a Warden.
Sound of chatter reaches Mack as the newcomer continues to serenade MC over by the bench. At the same time, the timer beeps, indicating that Mack's shift had ended.
Mack collects his stuff and walks to MC and the newcomer, who becomes notably uncomfortable as they take in Mack's height and his medusa hair.
MC smiles at Mack, "Ah! There he is, finally. Mack, this is newcomer, newcomer, this is Mack my..."
MC doesn't get the chance to finish as Mack says, "...boyfriend."
The newcomer face flushes, realizing that they might have been too brave flirting with MC.
"Oh..." The newcomer manage to say as MC try to hide a smile. "Nice to know... I mean to to meet you Mack... I better get going."
The newcomer almost falls over as they disappear around the corner.
"Boyfriend?" MC asks, turning to face Mack.
Mack grins, "Yeah! And it rings even better coming from your mouth." With that said, he leans for a kiss.
Zhan is at a party with MC. As Zhan returns from the kitchen with drinks, they notice someone nonchalantly flirting with MC.
Zhan slows their pace, giving time to MC to get rid of the newcomer, but seeing that the conversation is still going, Zhan decides to join the two of them.
"Here's your drink, MC. And by the way, Ashley is looking for you. Something about what shoes to match with her outfit, what do I know?"
MC smiles, "In that case I'll go see what she needs. I'll be quick. Oh and Zhan this is newcomer and newcomer this is Zhan."
MC quickly disappear leaving both Zhan and newcomer together.
Zhan gets closer to newcomer and smirks, "You're brave, you know?"
"Excuse me?" newcomer says.
"You're brave to have work out the courage to talk to MC, just so you know MC is with me. So be gone, now."
Newcomer raises an eyebrow, "MC is with you? Like you own MC or something?"
Zhan smirks again, "No, MC is their own person, I don't need to own them. I'm just letting you know that MC is with me."
Newcomer scoffs, "Are you trying to scare me or something? I'm not afraid of you."
Zhan smirks, "Oh, but you should." Making sure no one nearby is watching, Zhan gets closer to newcomer's face and...
When MC returns, MC find Zhan alone, "Oh! Where's newcomer? And Ashley said she didn't ask for me."
Zhan smiles, "I might have misheard her, sorry about that. And newcomer had to leave. Something about not wanting to stay out too late."

I really love the drawing of that new character too. It's definitely the last new one. No more new characters will be added for the sequel which seem to be a huge cast already.
I will make a more in depth presentation of the new characters soon like personality, fun fact about them and what role they will play. Also a bit of summary for the sequel, as soon as I have all that figured that I will make a post, no worries.
