ONE LAST DAY @ THE KILNS
July 20th; packed and stored my belongings by 9:30am; took a walk through Oxford as nostalgia settled in; took a bus to the Kilns/CS Lewis’ home on the outskirts of Oxford; made a friend on the bus; had a picnic lunch in the forest that inspired Narnia; went on adventure with my new friend; lugged my enormous suitcase [TAKE NOTE DO NOT PACK A LOT IF TRAVELLING AROUND EUROPE] to the train station—EXTREMELY BAD IDEA; arrived in London and lugged my giant suitcase to the hostel—also extremely bad idea except for the fact that there are many strong, kind British men who help struggling travelers with suitcases in tube stations
