Elena had been having an unlucky day. Her car had broken down and she hated to go home with an empty house since she lost Jeremy. Luckily, she was only a few feet from Mystic Falls' favorite hangout spot. She entered the establishment and glanced around. She sighed and sat at a table at the Grille, fiddling with a fork sitting at the table when she felt someone sit across from her. She looked up to see a familiar face.
