I think homeschooling would've been easier for me because I was taught to be afraid of being stupid, thus I didn't ask questions and sat in the back of the class.

I'm homeschooled and this brings so much comfort to me, thank you. YuY
sofipitch Exactly. The education system needs to start recognizing that it's tearing kids down instead of educating them. I could spend as much time as I wanted on a subject I didn't understand. And everything felt simpler because I didn't feel like I was competing against other students. I didn't have to compare my work to anyone else's at all, really.
thekishakisha How did I not know you're homeschooled?? But, you're welcome. :3 There's really no shame in it. Personally, I think it works better for some people. It's just as viable as any other school option. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

fun fact: i got to see mew live last year and no one shouted for an encore - after they left the stage everyone started chanting “comforting sounds, comforting sounds, comforting sounds” until they came back and performed the song.

Ukraine, Vietnam, and Yemen!
Ukraine: What is one thing that has made you stronger in life?
Going to college knowing absolutely no one, haha. Part of why I've treasured the time I've had here is due to my own personal growth in that aspect; I was really really shy and awkward for a big part of my life and I had great difficulty making friends. When I first started college I just had this surge of motivation to change that, and by busting through it for three years I'm finding it way easier to interact with people and I've made myself to be a person that's (hopefully) welcoming and easy to talk to, and due to that I like myself a lot more as a person, so yeah!
Vietnam: What is something you are proud of about yourself?
Mmm same as above, sort of haha. I'm proud that despite being convinced and believing that I'd grow up worthless, I ended up being someone I could take at least have some degree of pride in. That despite being terrible at absolutely everything imaginable and being looked down upon, I'm graduating college at 19 with more wonderful friends and peers than I could've ever dreamed of having, and just generally being content, I guess. I've come a long way, I think. hehe
Yemen: What kind of art do you like?
Ahh I really like pop surrealism, I think it's called? The object head trend sums it up pretty well. Some examples (if I'm using the term right) would be Sachin Teng and Mel Tow, I love their stuff a lot *-*
