Behind the scenes

So I had a shoot with Little Skull Photography and Tanya Amalfitano (makeup & hair stylist) this past Sunday. We had been planning an outdoor shoot and wanted to use the leaves and their colors as a backdrop while they are still on the trees. 

But sometimes things don't go according to plan, and technical difficulties arise at inopportune moments, such as when you have been waiting for the right lighting and have everything set to go.

We ended up moving on to our other idea due to elements out of our control, but I wanted to share the look that the photographer and stylist had spent time and effort planning out as well so this post is some of the behind the scenes shots taken during the shoot.

There were still some technical difficulties, but we managed to work through most of them and come up with some cool stuff I think, including some cool atmosphere by using a fog machine (which may have resulted in a smoke detector going off at one point since we were in the house).

Enjoy some sneak peeks of the fantastic job Tanya did on my hair and makeup-for better detail and pictures of the whole look we created, you'll have to wait and see the images from Little Skull Photography!
