31 Days of Spooks: Day 20
Ashe slipped through the gates to the graveyard just before they closed. The sun had only minuets before fully setting and Ashe wanted peace. Besides, fences and gates can’t really lock her in, not when she can easily jump them.
She could have visited during the day, but the bundle she carried would have caused to many questions she didn’t want to answer.
She headed quietly towards Mag’s grave and sat down on the grass just in front of his stone. Tossing away the dead flowers in the vase, she replaced it with new ones. Then she pulled back the bundle’s cover and two golden eyes blinked up at her. She smiled and placed the small dragon on the ground, “Its Daddy. You remember Daddy.”
The child sniffed the grave before curling up by the flower and whimpered.
“Yeah…I miss him too…”
