And here Gray was, face to face with the Thunder Goddess. The faceless’s relationship with the gods, or well...anyone in the realms was pretty shaky, to say the least. So, Gray had a hunch that this encounter may not go as well as he might think. It was a cynical point of view but from how things have went with everyone else, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to believe this.

“Heya’ there...Raiden...” Gray awkwardly greeted the goddess, scratching the back of his head as he looked at her. She called him a friend, so that was a positive, at least.

“...Is this a social call or are ya’ planning on deliverin’ some divine judgment onto me? I mean, I ain’t exactly the most “popular” fellow in the realms, so it wouldn’t be all that out there if that’s why you’re here.” The faceless asked the woman.

Walking through the mysterious portal that had appeared in her garden seemed like a good idea at the time. She was expecting to be teleported, what she didn’t expect was the fall. Landing sideways on the hard ground had hurt and she groaned softly as she attempted to stand up.

Hearing the thud caused Antir to perk up.  No one was expected to be coming to the island...after all, the Black Dragons had already ransacked it so it’s not like there were any treasured valuables left in the palace.

Getting up, Antir headed to where he’d heard the sound to find...Lady Raiden getting up and brushing her robes off, the dirt on one side showing how she had landed.

“L-lady Raiden...” the Chloromancer managed, “What brings you to the isle?”
