There were seldom times she went anywhere without the other Gems. Especially not so far away from the Temple. But she’d taken it upon herself, more times than she cared to admit, to warp across miles and miles, across strawberry fields and the rapid growth of humanity, to search the familiar places her troops had once laid claim to. There were so many still out there, and even if Rose Quartz wasn’t sure how many, she was still going to remain hopeful that, perhaps, she could find just one.

Fiddleford took the paper towel, wiping his hand off before using it to cover his mouth as he started to cough again, though much less seriously than before. It still hurt, though, and he shut his eyes tightly, balling up the edge of his coat in his fist. “J-just... Nnng... Just, w-wait...” he said, trying to keep his own panic in check. Ohhh, this was bad.

With one hand, Fiddleford gripped tightly to the edge of the table, covering his mouth with the other. He moved his hand away slightly to see what was on his hand -- oh jeeze. “Fu--ck...” He covered his mouth again, still coughing, pushing away from the table and leaning forwards, pressing his elbows against his legs.

Once his coughing fit was (for the most part) over, he moved his hand away again and took a sharp breath, wrapping his other arm around himself.
