Showtime | Daniel & Jack
Daniel was staring out the window, watching the sun descend. It was pleasant, really. It helped him to get centered, as he was aboutto go out for a trick soon, one with Jack. He glanced over his shoulder, having heard some footsteps.
"Jack," he greeted the young magician, spinning on his heel to face him. He slid his deck of cards, which he had been fiddling with, into his pocket, along with his hands. Taking a few strides over to Jack, he raised both eyebrows, a small smile on his lips.
"You think you're just about ready?" He couldn't help but smirk at the words, knowing it was almost time for them to get onto the stage. Glancing around, he thought aloud, looking for his jacket. "I could have sworn I left it over... here..." He checked underneath a few pillows, searching endlessly for the black jacket. He was almost all ready, all except for the jacket. He was just about to ask Jack if he had seen it when he spotted the damned thing, spread out on a railing near the back of the hotel room. "Ah, got it-- Sorry about that."
