benedictus - someone is selling jewelry on the side of the road. what piece catches your muse’s eye?
It’s the arch of the moon that catches Kir’s eye. Jewelry stands are a gil a dozen in Ul’dah, and those that are set up favor sun and light themed pieces over all else. Topazes and pieces of amber are the gems of choice. None of them are things that the miqo’te likes and so he had intended to simply walk on by, continue with his grocery shopping and go home.
Instead, he pauses. Let’s the crowd part around him angrily.
Haggling with the merchant is easier than expected; apparently neither of them had paid that much attention to the piece, the only deciding factor being that Kir wanted it. When they finally settle on a price Kir wastes no time and heading towards the aetheryte, trying not to look too desperate but no longer willing to linger just in case.
The necklace is at it first looked when Kir first saw it. A crescent moon with a single opal inlaid in the middle. Simple, but beautiful.
As the aetheryte drops him outside his home he fumbles for his linkpearl.“Hey Vadal, I got ya somethin’.”
@theletter27 sorry it took so long <3
