So many people appear to be committed to God nowadays - they pray, worship, are active in the church, help others, and so much more. Their lives are filled with religious rituals & and old traditions. Not because they are hungry for God but because "that's what we're supposed to do." We can not simply praise and honor Him with our mouths but not with our hearts. Words and actions without the love of God are meaningless. Let us not deceive ourselves, always continue to actively and constantly seek God. Don't let your traditions be the only reason you call yourself a Christian. I'm constantly re-examining my walk with Christ, not because I'm unsure, but because I want to make sure I'm doing everything that I possibly can to get closer to Him. The more I run to Him, the more steady he holds me. So be real with yourself, be legit about God, be the person that can't get enough. Even if you have everyone fooled, God knows your heart.
