The last thing Clara remembered was walking back to her motorbike when someone had grabbed her and shoved a rag drenched in chemicals over hoer mouth and nose.
As she woke, Clara realized that her hands were tightly bound behind her back. she tried to look and she where she was, but a thick strip of cloth was tied tightly around her head, effectively blinding her. There was something else around her neck, like a collar; she could feel a leash trailing down her back and onto the floor.
"Mmmph!" she cried, realizing that there was a wad of material in her mouth, with a strip of tape keeping it inside. She started squirming, trying to get out of this predicament.

The main verse is that Rose was being tortured in pete's world, forced to watch John and her family killed while they did unspeakable things to her. In thinking she was going to die, she called out the Bad Wolf to protect her. Once the torturers were taken care of, Bad wolf took her out of that universe.
