you love to write don’t you? so do it because its something you enjoy and i’m sure many other people enjoy reading. doing something creative like writing is beautiful and expressive! so keep writing because your stories have value in them!!

Thank you! I definitely don't plan to stop writing (because I do want to get better at it). But I do think my lack of confidence and fear of criticism contributes to what stops me from doing things like updating my fics regularly.
