So my chem teacher asked us to read Chapter 1 of the Gen Chem 1 book and do a couple problems. When he says read Chapter 1 does he expect us to take notes on the chapter as well? I have Childs for Chem.
Pharm Admin: That's up to you really. I mean that sounds like a good idea to me and it'll really set you up well to get an A in the class if you did that for every chapter. A lot of students don't even read chapters that are assigned let alone take notes on them.
Can I get some insight on the World Performances and Dramatic Imagination GenEds? What are they like? Fun? What are typical assignments like?
Pharm Admin: Well I don't know much about World Performances but I've heard good things about Dramatic Imagination. It's actually a class recommended on our list (specifically with Deborah Block). Anyone have any personal experiences with either of these classes?

In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
In no particular order, ten books that have stayed with me are:
1. The Night Trilogy: Night, Dawn, Day by Elie Wiesel ( technically three books but I am counting them as one because I have lots of books that I want to put in lol)
2. Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
3. Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay
4. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
5. Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle series (manga by CLAMP)
6. The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke (my personal childhood favorite)
7. The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
8. The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
9. A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin
10.The Queen's Own Fool: A Novel of Mary Queen of Scots by Jane Yolen and Robert J. Harris

For my Math Placement test I got Stat 1001 Precalculus for Business. As a bio major I need to take Calc 1 and 2, but I still wanted to take pre-calc because it wasnt my best class in 12th. Someone emailed me and said that I couldn't take regular Precalc because Precalc for Business isn't the same as Pre-calc. Do you think my advisor would let me just take regular precalc? If i can't that means I have to take 4 lower level classes before taking Calc and she said i would go into a 5th year at TU.
Pharm Admin: Hm I wonder who emailed you? This student said that happened to them last year and their advisor told them it's a glitch with Temple's placement system. So I think you should be able to take normal pre-calculus?
my lovely friend Girishma is getting a tattoo this summer and I'm so so tempted to join her and get the hp chapter stars behind my ear
