Salim has Mai open the browser to the article he bookmarked, he waits while she reads it...

Salim follows Mai into the kitchen...

S: ‘’So nothing interesting happened at work today, your boss not spoken to you about anything....anything at all?’’

Mai: ‘’Stop talking in riddles Salim, whatever it is spit it out!’’

S: ‘’I don’t know if you’re acting dumb or you’re just making it look that way when you know what’s really going on!

Mai: ‘’Salim, you’re really confusing me right now...what are you going on about?’’

S: ‘’I think it’s best if I show you, come on’’

Salim walks upstairs and into his room, Mai follows curious to find out what he’s going on about...

S: ‘’So tell me, how did you get those pictures?’’

M: ‘’It’s not what you know, it’s who you know’’

S: ‘’So you just walked in and asked ‘Hey can I have some footage’ and they just gave it to you?’’

M: ‘’I kinda made a deal, but it’s worth it right?’’

S: ‘’Mai, what deal did you make?’’

M: ‘’You don’t wanna know!’’

S: ‘’Tell me!’’

M: ‘’I have to go on a date...with Don!’’

Mai walks through the door...

M: ‘’Sorry I took longer than I thought, I’m Maiden. It’s nice to meet you!’’

SD: *Glares at Mai*

S: ‘’DAD!’’

Mai takes a seat next to Salim

Mai’s phone rings...

M: ‘’I’ll be home in 30...I just have one last thing to do’’

S: ‘’Please hurry!’’

M: ‘’Are you ok, you sound pissed off!’’

S: ‘’Just hurry back, my Dad’s turned up at the apartment. I’ve no idea how he found me Mai’’

M: ‘’I’ll be as quick as I can!’’

S: ‘’Just come straight back!’’

M: ‘’If your Dad’s there then he should see this too, just stall him until I get there!’

S: ‘’Fine, see you soon’’

Maiden makes her way to the apartment lobby that is home to rose...she walks through the main entrance and to her surprise there’s a friendly face to greet her.

S: ‘’How could you go behind my back like that, I thought I told you not to get involved!’’

M: ‘’I was pissed off okay, I didn’t think she would actually publish it!’’

S: ‘’You sent it to your boss asking what she thought thought, I hear’d you finger bashing your keyboard. I asked you about it and you told me you were arguing with someone’’

M: ‘’I kinda was, only it was a one sided thing. You said that you don’t have a leg to stand on and this is a way that we can get to her. It’s not like I went and spoke to her directly, it was an interview with her boyfriend!’’

S: ‘’You can’t go round messing with this Mai, her lawyer called my lawyer today and he was pissed!’’

M: ‘’What that he’s gonna loose this case? Sal, I’m not going to let her ruin your life like this. She wants a fight then bring it on because I don’t quit until I win!’’

S: ‘’Mai, you have no idea what she could do to your career’’

M: ‘’Yes, she just made it a whole lot better, now my boss knows what I can really do then I could be promoted. We both win from this but more importantly you can get your life back!’’

S: *runs his fingertips through his hair*

M: ‘Look, just trust me on this one ok...I have something else that we can use to our advantage’’

S: ‘’what is it?’’

M: ‘’I need to speak to someone first but I’ll show you as soon as I have the information!’’

S: ‘’Fine...I can’t stop you can I...’’

M: ‘’No you can’t so just go with me on this one, please. I trusted you in a town where I knew no one, you helped me so let me help you.’’

S: ‘’Ok, I’ll let you do your thing...’’

Maiden returns from work to Salim sat on the couch TV off and his arms folded over his chest...

M: ‘’Hi, what are you doing?’’

S: ‘’What am I doing?’’

M: ‘’Yeah, sat there, like.....that’’

S: ‘’Is there something you want to tell me?’’

M: *oh crap* ‘’I don’t know...is there?’’

S: ‘’You tell me!’’

Mai: *silence*

Salim: ‘’You had a good day in work?’’

Mai: ‘’Yeah, how was your day off?’’

Salim: *Raises an eyebrow to Mai*

Mai:  ‘’Ok, you’re being weird...I’m making a bru, you want one?’’

Mai walks through to the kitchen...
