You’re very nervous when Reinhardt first suggests it to you

Reinhardt has been joining Torb and his family for the holidays for years and was invited once again

Puppy dog eyes, pleading, and offering to take up the house chores for a month eventually persuade you

It’s not that you don’t want to go; it’s just a large step for the two of you as a couple

There’s absolutely nothing for you to worry about though

Rein gets jumped on by Torb’s children as soon as you walk in the door

“Uncle Reinhardt!”

When they settle and notice you, the two of you get several curious questions from the littler ones as the kids drag you farther into the house

You’re welcomed immediately into the family

You receive your own share of hugs, both from the kids and Torb and his wife

While Torbjorn and his love continue to set up the meal in the kitchen, you get to experience Reinhardt’s superb storytelling abilities while sitting in a small chair with the kiddos either hanging off him or sitting on the ground in front of him

It’s an adorable sight really, and he often flashes smiles your way as he talks

You can’t help but smile back

The kids are trying to encourage you to share a story when everyone is called into the dining area for dinner

Reinhardt is at one head of the table with you next to him; Torb and his wife are at the other end in a similar position

Everyone goes around sharing what they’re thankful for and several children mention you and Reinhardt, making you blush

Reinhardt’s thankful for his continuing family tradition and that you’re here with him

Torb ends it all with a cheer to Thanksgiving, then it’s time to dig in

After the meal is over, everyone gathers in the living room once more for talking and storytelling and just general enjoying each other’s company

It feels like home

I'M BACK! Anyways thank for my last request. I'm feeling much better now. I was wondering if you could do Soldier 76 and Reindhart taking their s/o to a baseball game. Hope ya have a fantastic day and many more.

Sounds like something they’d do, let’s get something written up for it! Hope you have a god day too.

Soldier: 76 taking his s/o to a baseball game:

Even if his s/o knows baseball, he keeps narrating the game and what’s happening as far as plays and rules or infractions. He’s one of the people who always yells “foul ball” before the umpire even blows the whistle. Every now and then he’ll apologize to his s/o for it.

He has a baseball cap of the team they’re cheering for, and he gets one for his s/o as well, and probably a pennant too. 

Soldier doesn’t get much to eat himself, but if his s/o wants hot dogs and snacks he’ll get them everything they want, and track down the people too so his s/o doesn’t miss any of the game.

Reinhardt:

Reinhardt doesn’t know the ins and outs of baseball, so he’s more likely to cheer just a good catch or hit in general. He’s always asking his s/o if they’re enjoying it or if they know what just happened, and is greatly disappointed when the players bunt the ball even if it’s a good strategy.

He catches a baseball the batter hit into the stands, and hands it to his s/o to keep. He still loudly berates the batter for almost hitting his s/o, though!

He buys all the snacks because you can’t enjoy a sporting event on an empty stomach! He makes sure he gets everything his s/o loves.

Sombra

Honestly does some crazy shit that probably terrifies you at first before you realize what she’s actually doing

Like your at home or work or something and suddenly all the electricity cuts out

Everything completely shuts down for a few seconds, then reboots with a bunch of creepy coding and shit all over every screen 

Out of surprise you probably briefly forget that your girlfriend is a hacker and she wants to surprise you so her trademark is nowhere to be seen

Eventually the coding starts picking out a letter of each line of coding

Eventually each screen has “WILL YOU MARRY ME” spelled out vertically and lit up in purple, surrounded by the rest of the white flickering coding

You’re just piecing things together by the time the lights come back on and the door opens

Your girlfriend is in the doorway with the smuggest look plastered on her face before she walks right up to you, takes a knee, and pulls out a shiny ring with a purple gem from behind her back

Doomfist

Is actually a normal human being aside from punching out of prison with his bare hands and having a giant golden arm/gauntlet as a weapon

Makes a big home-cooked meal and sets up the dining room all fancy with nice dishes and a nice new tablecloth wine glasses and candles and dimmed lights

When he hears you get home, he runs out to make sure you cover your eyes eyes before he guides you to his at-home restaurant

When you ask what’s going on he just tells you that you’ll have to wait until the end

All through dinner he asks about you and your day and how everything is going

All attention on you

Dinner’s your favorite meal and afterwards is your favorite desert

Tbh he probably drags the night out a bit to get you wondering

Takes forever to finish the cleanup, which he refuses to let you help with

Even feigns to have forgotten what the occasion was

He walks off to go to bed, then hollers at you to come quick

When you get to the bedroom, he’s waiting on one knee with a simple but gorgeous ring in his hand

“It seems I’ve just remembered what the occasion was! Will you marry me?”

Hi it's me again. I love what you did with my last one. To be honest I'm not having the greatest time right now. Could I just get Orisa, Bastion,Zenyatta and a platonic s/o just going for a day at the park.(P.s I mean all together as one group not individually, but if you don't want to it could be separate.)

Hey, sorry to hear you’re having a rough time. Hopefully this cheers you up a little. (Sorry if it seems childish? I grew up in a way where parks are for playing no matter the age)

Orisa, Bastion, and Zenyatta at the park with a best friend:

Bastion or Orisa let their friend (and Zenyatta if he wants) ride on them to get to the park. If their friend doesn’t want a lift, then one of them will insist on taking the picnic basket/cooler and blanket.

If the park has a waterpark/play area and their friend goes in, Bastion definitely hovers with a huge towel and worries about them because that much water can’t be good for them, right? 

If there was a playground they wanted to go on, Zenyatta would most definitely oblige his friend and sit opposite them on the seesaw, or push them on the swing.

The omnics would spread out a huge comfy blanket to sit on with their friend, after Zenyatta picked a nice spot under a tree. They would have packed their friend’s favourite foods (since they don’t need to eat) and would have a nice quiet sit down while their friend ate. Zenyatta would meditate, or hum, and Bastion would watch birds and Orisa would make sure their friend was safe and comfortable.

After their day at the park, if their friend was tired and maybe dozed off, the omnics would definitely carry them home. Bastion and Orisa would take turns so they each got to carry their friend half the way, too.

I'm back! Anyways I love what you did with mind before and the others you've been doing since then. So can you do Roadhog, Reaper, and Lucio reacting to an s/o proposing to them. I'm just imagining that they wouldn't expect it. Anyways love your work and as always have a grand day.(P.S if you could make the s/o female I think it would be hilarious.)

Haha repeat customer! And let’s do both: how they’d react to a female s/o and a non specified one! And we’re going to assume the s/o proposes with a ring for maximum cliche factor.

Roadhog reacting to his s/o proposing:

(if female) He just stares at the ring for a long moment and then starts laughing. “Didn’t expect that.”

(if other) He nods slowly since his s/o cant see his face, and takes the ring from them carefully. “Sure.”

Reaper:

(if female) Looks at the ring as it were a live explosive. Takes it and sticks it on his s/o’s finger. “Aren’t you supposed to wait for me to ask?”

(if other) He just sighs. Deeply. And then takes the ring and sticks it in a pocket. “Stop waving it around.”

Lucio:

(if female) He whoops with sheer happiness and pulls out a ring too. “You beat me to it!”

(if other) He freezes for a second, and then hugs his s/o tightly with a huge grin. “I had no idea if you would be down for it so I was waiting! You know I wrote a song to propose to you with?”

So I was wondering (hope It's ok that I ask again so early) you could do a s/o finding out Junkrat has adopted a small puppy of the streets.(I imagine it would be because he feels for the poor thing.) Hi again, glad you liked the other request! At this point in the blog’s life since I don’t have a huge amount of asks, I’m totally fine with people making multiple requests. All I ask is that you don’t send in a new one until I’ve answered your last one!

I wanted to try and get some mini-fic responses going, so hopefully you like this type of reply, too.

“What have you got there, Jamison?” You asked, tapping your boyfriend’s bony shoulder as he hunched over something in the corner.

You didn’t lean too far over to try and see what it was though. Knowing Jamison, it was likely explosive and your eyebrows had only just grown back in from the last time you made the mistake of getting too close to his latest project. 

“It’s somethin’ you’ll like,” He replied, not looking away from what he was doing.

He wasn’t grinning like he usually was, his brows drawn together in concentration, and you weren’t sure if that was a good or a bad thing.

“What makes you think I’ll like it?” You asked.

There was a small whimper from the floor, and that was when Jamison broke into a grin. He leaned back so he was resting against your legs, and held up a tiny puppy for your inspection.

“Because everyone loves a pup!”

You could barely contain the urge to snatch it from his hands and cuddle the grubby little thing. It was obviously a stray from the street, it’s fur matted and streaked with grime and you rolled your eyes at the fact that Jamison hadn’t thought to bathe it.

…You could forgive him that oversight though, since he had given the three-legged puppy a little prosthetic instead.

Bastion w/ platonic s/o:

Loves to go birdwatching with his friend. They sit on his shoulders and tell him the names of the birds they see. He tries to imitate the bird names in beeps.

They take up gardening, and his friend teaches him the different plants, and how to tell what’s a weed.

Bastion is intensely protective of his friend. Even if someone raises their voice at his friend, Bastion will try to protect them.

Orisa w/ platonic s/o:

Her and her s/o love to listen to Lucio’s music together. They always get his newest CDs and her s/o teaches her different words to describe it.

Orisa is constantly checking on if her s/o is safe. She worries about them whenever they’re not with her, and as soon as she sees them again she asks if they’re alright.

They like to watch shows and read books together!

I don’t think we give enough love to the Omnics of Overwatch. So how about a student/teacher relationship with an S/o and Bastion, Orisa, and Zenyatta.( You decide who is the student and who is the teacher.) Anyways love your work and see ya!

Bastion:

Bastion is absolutely fascinated with everything that you do and looks to you as a guide for blending in better in society.

Bastion will even go so far as to mimic your every move in an effort to seem more human or “normal” by society’s standards. It’s aware that it’s different and that people see it as a threat. It just wants to be accepted.

It does not have any speech protocol but it will mimic the syllable count of anything you say so it can at least pretend it is speaking human language.

Bastion doesn’t have much to give you, but it’d like to repay you for your kindness. So, Bastion often leaves you random objects as gifts. A twig with some berries on it, pretty flowers, play dates with Ganymede, anything that would make you smile so Bastion doesn’t feel like it’s being a burden on you. 

Orisa:

She looks to you to gather knowledge on just about anything she can. Seeing as she is a new model, she has plenty of room for new info. 

Combat, compassion toward civilians, proper conversation patterns, she’ll take it all.

She is also very eager to please and is just like that kid that’s always like “hey hey look at me! look what I can do! look! you’re not looking!!!!!”

Orisa is always talking about you to Efi and Efi is such a proud robot mom. She really appreciates everything you are offering Orisa and considering she is so young... I bet she looks up to you too!

Zenyatta:

Of course Zenyatta is the teacher in this scenario. He’s always the teacher. ;) For you, he is an anxiety combatant. He offers you many techniques to battle your anxiety.

It doesn’t matter if its 4:20 am, you can always call him for help and he’ll be there as quick as he can.

He gives off a very welcoming atmosphere. You can never ask him a stupid question. Any inquiry you may have is taken seriously.

He also cherishes you as a dear companion. You are more than just some student to him. You are his travel buddy through life. A dear friend. He wants the best for you. <3
