BEAUTIFUL PERSON AWARD! Once you are given this award, you’re supposed to paste it in the ask of 8 people who deserve it. If you break the chain nothing will happen, but it’s sweet to know someone thinks you’re beautiful inside and out!
Awww, thank you. This was super sweet and made me happy when i saw it!
Got a question about Marvel Future Fights, what and how does one use dimension debris?
Yeah that one confused me too, I had to look it up. :) Apparently it kicks in as a material you need to have in order to keep upgrading your Gear after it reaches Level 10.
At this point, I don’t even have any heroes with Gear higher than 8, (and it’s getting EXPENSIVE to upgrade those now), so I have no idea when I’ll be using that!
Do you have any tips for a new marvel future fights player?
YOU’RE GOING TO BE ADDICTED. SO ADDICTED. That’s a hot tip. ;)
In all honesty, though: If you are willing to invest a little cash in the game up front, that’ll get you going and you won’t have to purchase stuff all the time in order to get the characters you want. Several of them are pretty easily unlocked through completing story levels, once you’ve got a few decent characters under your belt.
I purchased the Jessica Jones package which comes with Jess + a ton of starter material, that was on special for like $20 when JJ premiered as a promotion; the extra goodies allowed me to nab the Netflix Daredevil suit for Matt once I’d unlocked him.
Buying a character package usually also gives you a good amount of Level 5 Experience Chips, which will let you level up a handful of characters to like Level 25-30 really fast; this is the point at which they start to be come really useful.
Be sure to play the Daily and Bonus challenges as much as you can to get ISO-8 crystals and more EXP chips; these also help strengthen your character’s fighting power. (You won’t be able to play all of them until your characters reach a certain level; ex. I can’t complete a lot of the bonus levels with bosses that are at like level 45 and above, because my heroes just aren’t strong enough yet.)
WATCH your heroes’ energy levels when you’re playing as a team; if someone’s getting down below 500, don’t let them get knocked out. Switch to another character; your ultimate goal is to complete all levels with 3 stars (i.e. all of your heroes are still standing.)
Also, once you’ve completed levels with 3 stars, you can use clear tickets on those to get more Biometrics w/ out having to actually fight through the level, if you don’t want to.
And do the Timeline Battles under Arena! They’re lots of fun, good practice, and in some cases earning Honor Tokens through there is the only way to rank up certain characters. (Captain Marvel’s biometrics are only available thru Honor Tokens; Carol’s a favorite of mine so I try to play through my alloted matches often so I can keep ranking her up. :) ) Just be sure to pay attention to the EXP and ranking of the characters you’re fighting against; if they’re too high compared to your heroes, they’ll just unceremoniously kick your ass. LOL
Have fun!
Now that you've seen Marvel's Daredevil, what do you think of it? Did the cast performed up to your expectations? Were there things that you don't like or would change? Really interested to know what your opinion is :)
I loved it! It was everything I could have hoped for and more! I feel that all the cast members did a fantastic job portraying their different characters. Charlie as Matty was especially amazing. I know in an interview he said one of the things he struggled with was playing a blind character and having to learn to do things without looking at what he was doing. I think he did a great job with that.
As for things I didn’t like, I didn’t like that they killed off Ben Urich. He has so much potential and is a really wonderful character in the comics. Him and Matt have so much history and chemistry in the comics so it was a shame that they didn’t keep him alive to explore that more. Maybe they will bring him back. I also would have changed the way that they described his radar sense. It seemed to confuse a lot of people into thinking that Matt is sighted, but he’s not. It would have been cool if they did Samnee’s way of showing the radar sense, I think that would have been perfect.
Besides that I think everything was just done really well. The production value was really high and it showed. All around great and I couldn’t be more happy with the way it came out :)
So happy that Spidey has come home to Marvel! Curious to know, which one would you like to see on the big screen, Miles Morales or Peter Parker?
I am very happy about it too :) I would definitely like to see Miles come to the big screen. Just imagine how awesome it would be to see little black boys and girls dressing up as Miles for halloween!! I think we have seen enough of Peter for a while. We have had two different movie series with him as Spider-Man and I really do not want to see his origin story done again. It is getting old and if Marvel wants to stay ahead of the game, they need to bring in more diversity to the MCU. Plus, Miles Morales and Sam Wilson interacting.
Hi! Fellow Evangeline Lilly hater here! Just want to know how you feel about her constant presence at premieres and interviews, and the lack of Aidan and Dean (or the dwarf actors)?
Hey!
I'm going to answer this publicly because I feel there's a lot of things I want to explain / have to say about that topic, okay? :-)
Hello! Do you think that the romantic subplot between Tauriel and Kili diminishes the friendship between Legolas and Gimli? If so, why. You know, since you're more of a Tolkien nerd than me...
Greetings! In the books the friendship between Legolas and Gimli is remarkable since they essentially start off very adversarial, but then become friends to the amazement of almost everyone outside the Fellowship. In the film, it still follows essentially the same line, though now as Jackson and co. have invented a romance subplot between an elf and a dwarf it might not seem so singular i.e. remarkable.Personally, I don’t think it diminishes the value of Gimli and Legolas’s friendship in the context of the films as you can see it develop and grow from a natural respect and admiration. As different folk who are thrust together often do, they bond, and more than the dwarf/elf friendship (though that was important to Tolkien) I think the larger point is the setting aside of small differences to recognize larger similarities.
