The Manila String Machine jumpstarted the weekend by being one with the force as we performed for Star Wars fans on the opening day of the limited early release weekend of the last movie of the Star Wars Saga: The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars fans in MOA got a taste of live renditions of themes from the movie, that have gone iconic over the years. Then MSM rushed off to Central Square in BGC to serenade young padawans with special needs who will be watching the movie at Central Square Cineama 4. I was not able to perform with them because of a prior commitment, but I was able to catch the tail-end of their performance. As an added treat to members of MSM, they gave us free tickets to the movie. Special thanks to Ted, Jake, Peds and Monica for sharing their blessings! When I got home, I found that the Star Wars keep cups I ordered have arrived. Don't forget to bring your reusable cups when you buy beverages as you enjoy the movie this weekend! :) I'm sure fans who have seen the movie will have dissenting opinions about the movie, but whatever those opinions are, keep them to yourselves until next year because that's when the movie will be shown regularly.
