I think he’s being irrational, but feelings are just that. Honestly, I’d probably be the same as him. Especially since he /still/ thought Yates and him had something special in the finale. Hopefully, he’ll realize she was right though.
If he finally does realize she's right I hope it takes a lot to get Maya to forgive him, and she doesn't just accept his apology right away after the way he treated her. I see your point though, but Yates shouldn't have even led Tristan on in the first place.
