So, with two craft shows coming up, I've been making jewelry, specifically necklaces. More exciting, I'll be heading back to The McKittrick, Fri, December 2nd, late show. Never done a late riund, but this will be my 3rd time. My first was back in 2011 and it has never let me go. SincevI llove jewelry, last year, before I went, I knew I wanted to follow one of the witches. With that in mind, I wanted to wear something they would notice. I wore two necklaces I made that night. One had a battle shield, with Fortune Favors the Bold stamped in copper. The second was a horse medallion with a little goblin, with amethysts attached. It did just the trick, with one of the witches stopping me, picking up the necklace to examine it, sniling and taking my hand and leading me over to another part of the room. It was just a cool moment. I like making jewelry that memorialize or create little moments to remember. So, I want to make another necklace with a sleep no more theme. Its so hard to narrow down direction. Do I go in favor of the witches, or those who try to protect? Weaving in different meanings and motifs into a pleasing design is hard, but I have some ideas.
