It’s time to read & vote!
The 8 fics that we received for this round can be found below, or on AO3 here! Each fic follows the theme [Tragedy], includes the tropes [Florist AU] and [Mindlink], and has a central character focus on [Lexa kom Trikru]! When you vote, please be sure to take into consideration the USE of all these elements, because, as with all other TROPED events, the purpose is to select the authors who best utilize the requirements!
The structure for voting is simple! Please rank the eight (8) fics, first (1) being your top choice, and eight (8) being your last choice! The first poll, you will be asked to rank all 8 fics, the way you did in the Qualifying Round. This will help us to break any ties, and we will use this ranking to reorder the authors for the Bunker Brackets for Round 3. The second polls will consist of four head-to-head pairings. Please select which author of the two fics you think deserves to move on to Round 3!

right where you left me (Rated T) [Lexa/Clarke]
Cursed by a witch to live an immortal life without Clarke in it, Lexa nearly gives up all hope - but love, as it often does, will always find a way.
hear you louder when i close my eyes (Rated M) [Lexa/Costia]
It started with a Force vision, and grew into a bond. Lexa didn't know who the florist across the galaxy was, but she knew she was important - perhaps important enough to change her own thoughts on attachments. On love.
your touch brought forth an incandescent glow (Rated T) [Lexa/Harper]
When just a touch leaves you both immersed in each others thoughts and feelings, human touch is a luxury she can't afford. Not when she has secrets that can't get out. So Lexa's life is a cycle of loneliness and death. The only touch she ever feels is in the moments before she kills someone for their secrets. That's the way it's always been, and Lexa's okay with that.
Until an accidental brush of hands with a pretty Skai girl selling flowers changes everything.
And If The World Has Ceased To Hear You (Rated T) [Lexa/Clarke]
Lexa is pretty sure she's completely alone in her shop when she first hears the voice of the girl who calls herself Clarke. She can't help but feel drawn towards this lonely girl, who is maybe even as lonely as Lexa herself.
As time runs out, there is one precious thing Lexa can't imagine being without anymore. But the world has never been a gentle place for the soft-hearted and Lexa's fragile heart may already be doomed.
trade the fiddle for the drum (Rated T) [Lexa/Clarke]
"My mom said war will be declared soon," Clarke said, not taking her eyes off Lexa's shoulder. "Do you think we'll get deployed?"
"I certainly hope so," Lexa answered. "The war would be a great place to prove ourselves."
She watched Clarke frown, and Lexa took her friend's hands in her own.
"The war will be good for the village. My family's shop gets a ton of business with the memorial flowers and deliveries, your mom's hospital gets a ton of business taking care of wounded shipped back, and you and I can finally do something."
This Broken World (Keeps Turning) (Rated T) [Gen]
The year is 519 A.D., and nightbloods are persecuted. Lexa is a member of the resistance that fights to protect nightbloods. The future is looking dark, but she isn't prepared to give up yet.
Sunflowers for Mourning (Rated M) [Lexa/Costia]
After Lexa loses Costia, she goes home to Trikru.
What Lexa doesn't expect, is for the village's flower man to offer her one final gift from her soulmate before she says goodbye.
petals fall to ruin (Rated T) [Lexa/Costia]
There was no way to know how long she had been knocked out cold or what had happened to her. But she seemed relatively unharmed.
She sat there in shock, trying to gather her bearings so she could stand and retrace her steps back to the docks. She felt the panic swell as she searched for her friends, calling their names, but the alley was empty.
All of a sudden, there was a pull in her mind and Lexa was back at the Farmers’ Market. She could see the overturned stands and ruined paintings through the sodden mesh. But the water looked odd to her. Bluer than she recalled. It took her a moment to realize that she wasn’t physically at the docks but seeing everything through someone else’s eyes.
