We found this 1950's Nuclear war video when looking for information about how governments handled large-scale emergencies. Pretty fascinating, no?

Some words from the world - Marcus
One of the processes I go through when writing lyrics is creating big ol' lists of words that I think fit into the world and theme of the song. Here are a couple you're likely to hear in the show.
Circuits. Metal. Flesh. Human. Inhuman. Heartless. Harddrive. Source. Evil. Created. Mechanical. Cold. Dead. Wide Eyed. Empty. Emotionless. New. Intelligent. Survivor. Organic. Growing. Hidden. Robots. Logical. Heartless. Radiation. Science. Donor. Fire. Flame. Inferno. Wiring. Operating System. Machine. Engine. Forged. Innovation. Battery. Remains. Steel. Forged. Manufactured. Bunker. Alone. Solitary. Apocalypse. Holocaust. Extinction. Loss. War. Warrior. Soldier. Fighting. Killer. Breathless. Artificial.
A little sound design demo for the show. Pretty much what the title suggests.
Starbucks again. On the eve of the end....or maybe just a reading - Marcus
Tomorrow is our first reading of the script and I'm sitting here in my usual spot. I'm going back over everything and making sure everything makes sense, well as much as I can. Because tomorrow we introduce our baby to a select group of people and hear all these words hit the air.
This is the first opportunity for us to finally get some outside perspective on this story we're creating...and I couldn't be more excited, and a little nervous.
Its a weird thing. This project has lived in our heads for the past month and a half and suddenly its going to be a tangible thing. The thing about tangibility is that everything we've taken for granted and haven't explained properly story wise is going to be glaringly obvious....which is great but its also like submitting yourself willingly to be tortured.
So hear I am sitting in starbucks and prepping myself for the happiest sort of torture. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone who shows up tomorrow and for all you people on the web you can expect some video coming up on the website soon from tomorrow's reading (don't worry we'll pick out the good parts).
We'll see you on the otherside
Marcus
