Last night, @adriennekress, @briennewright and I went to #Figures restaurant for a fab meal. To get in you must enter through this foyer wallpapered with pages from over a thousand comic books, and press a big special button to open a secret door. The inside is intimate and classy, with nerd culture scenes rendered high art portraits, a popart style mural, and action figures spray painted gold, posed in amusing situations in plastic boxes on the wall. Waiting at the bar, the bartender and I chatted and he introduced me to a classic cocktail called an Aviation. (YUM). We ladies decided we were playing the part of supervillains that night and looked the fabulous part. The dood was excellent and we decided to do dinner tapas style and each ordered two small dishes. This beef tartare came with rosemary dry ice and smelled divine. I wilk go back again. My only complaint was the noise level - music was too loud so everyone, including the waitstaff, were a biy shouty.
