Have you heard about the webcomic "my deepest secret"? It's still in progress, but Its pretty good so far! It seems like a webcomic u guys might like?

Sigh, yeah. Julie and I are already away of this webcomic. We’re waiting for it to finish before anything else. Most likely it will be me (Kai) who will be the one to review it. After all, the guy has white hair ;) 

But I have to admit, I am a bit skeptical. So far people keep on telling us that it’s really good but I found it to be rather cliche and predictable from the first couple of chapters I read. Yeah it’s well written and the art is good but it has this entire vibe of “I read something like this before”. It’s like the very common recipe of every other yandere story out there. I think I made a bingo game of every single trope in a yandere story. If I actually made a game sheet out of it, My Deepest Secret probably would have filled out half the board already. 

Don’t take me the wrong way. It’s very well written and it’s a million times better than half the crap we read. But the more people praise it, the more incline I want to be critical of it. That’s just my nature.There’s really one thing that would give Mr Deepest Secret a twist but I’m going to hold my tongue and wait for the ending.

Follow up here’s the scene that hit me over the head with the foreshadowing and the cliche-ness of the webcomic. I swear there’s this sort of foreshadowing in every other yandere story:

Karamatsu being cradled by his s/o ,head over their heart while they sing (incoming cliché) your be in my heart after karamatsu gets bullied by his brothers? LET ME HOLD MY GLITTER HUSBAND

Karamatsu was crying again, it really broke s/o’s heart. S/o walked in quietly to Karamatsu shoving his face onto a pillow still sobbing; this makes things easier for their plan. S/o inched closer already practiced for this moment, “Come stop your crying, It’ll be all right; just take my hand it’ll be all right.” By this point Karamatsu’s head is up sniffing, giving s/o a chance to sit down, and gently push his head on to their chest. Gently intertwing their hand with his. “I will protect you, from all around you. I will be here,don’t you cry” At this point he’s hugging his s/o now sobbing more cause this is the nicest thing anyones done for him? “For one so small, you seem so strong.” s/o is squishing him closer to their chest, he seems happier. “My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm.” Somehow, he’s on top of them while they’re laying back cuddling the blue man closer. “This bond between us, can’t be broken. I will be here don’t you cry.” By this point s/o realizes the reason is he’s so comfortable and calm he fell asleep; but he deserves it. Soon s/o realizes mumbling the rest that they’ve fallen asleep.
