Satin Weiss - A Story for Glamometer X The Mercer NY

Some of my Instagram friends are asking me to upload the Glamometer Story with my new hoodie in Bordeaux. It is such a great feeling when friends all over the world are acknowledging a product that it is made in Germany and exclusively sold in Germany and Austria. Although it is a pity really because I wish you could all have one of this hoodies. I really do.

Here is it, the hoodie but the Satinweiss one, I know you want to see the new and I will, but I don´t know why I did not upload this story sooner...well, I think it was because the hoodie sold out so soon it did not even give me time, and since some of you are asking now about the hoodie story here it goes a taster. What I love and appreciate about Glamometer is that it gives the opportunity to so many Fashion Moms to do collabs, I truly appreciate this about them.

The location for this story was Berlin Mitte, Gendarmermarkt. It is an elegant quarter in the heart of Berlin.

For this shoot we did a sort of travel style vibe with my daughter. She is such an amazing photographer.

BUSINESS CHIC with THE MERCER NY

It has been a while since I updated my blog with a new fashion story. Since the holidays are over now, it is a good time to get into the habit of writing once again. 

Today I am launching the new collaboration pics for THE MERCER NY.

I will be showing you two looks with two of their cashmere sweaters perfect for Autumn. This is the First Look. 

We went to Charlottenburg again for this shoot and we landed in one street I had shot before although this was literally unplanned.  Clean roads help this style of photography a whole lot!

The look is a business chic number, very colourful and well accessorised. The sweater is the centerpiece nevertheless the shoes make a statement on their own, as well as the earings which I think pair very well with the vibe.

I can see myself wearing this sweater with white jeans or with a chic silk skirt as well. Also, this sweater can be worn for chic weekends, with blue jeans and a white pair of fancy sneakers.

Here is where the price is justified. It is a versatile high-end piece that you will wear for so many occasions.

I didn't need to glamorize the sweater so much but I loved it this way I must say.

The Mercer NY is known for its cashmere and silk so being able to pick 2 pieces from their collection is simply awesome and I can not thank the PR team enough!

LAGUNE GLAMOMETER

As I write I do not know if I need to put my feelings of excitement into words or just jump into showing the pictures we shoot with THE HOODIE! 

It was Saturday the 12th of May when I got to open the package that The Mercer N.Y surprisingly sent me. I was just happy because it is a luxury hoodie the piece we are talking about. 

For reference, I bought one myself in middle of an Instagram hysteria a month ago and I did not regret it for a minute. 

Why?

Because it is a classic high quality piece with a fashion twist.  

I adore statement pieces because it makes the whole process of choosing an outfit an easy ride. With this hoodie you can keep everything at a minimum and you are ready to go.

This is the look I went for this collaboration with the intention that you guys see how versatile the Glamometer hoodie is.

The name of the colour is LAGUNE. This colour suits blondes and brunettes equally and it is incredible friendly. 

My yellow hoodie is more challenging to mix and match but Lagune is about the see I read it in the Glamometer website. The inspiration was Maldives. I link the article below:

The garment construction is ideal and you will tell me when you wear it, the textile is premium.

One of the things I loved immediately about the Glamometer as a brand is that it is a happy universe.

In this times, where fashion is changing and people are waking up to undesirable news every day, the Glamometer website is a place where the reader finds fashion inspiration and humor. We should never forget that fashion is entertainment after all. Social responsability in fashion is essential but we need to smile and laugh as well. The Glamometer understood this sign of the times in my opinion.

THE OUTFIT:

For the purposes of pictures I am wearing this gorgeous Breakfast at Tiffany´s  inspired shoes, if you follow me for a while you know that I love to mix casual pieces with more dressed up items, but the hoodie can be worn with so many options, a pair of nice sneakers would have been a great option as well. 

Actually had I paired the hoodie with some great sneakers it could have become a Berliner Look
