let's go with theo since the keeper of midnight has been on my mind again
1) he's afro-carribean/german. his papa is from Munich and his manman is from Port-au-Prince (where the family all lived before his older sister moved to the states, and theo eventually moves to the states too). his parents met in new york.
2) theo has always been interested in the occult/supernatural! getting trapped in the keeper's realm surprisingly hasn't diminished that interest. it has put him off horror movies though. which brings me to...
3) he has a fear of clowns. getting trapped in the keeper's realm only made it worse.
4) finding out the truth about Zhan was pretty devastating to him. he's kinda on the fence about whether or not if it's even worth trying to mend their friendship. he'd like to, but the fact Zhan lied to everyone's face makes it difficult.
5) Ashley is his bestie. He has her affectionately listed as "zuzu girl" in his phone
6) in my original playthrough of the book 2 demo, he worked at a coffee shop, but after my most recent playthrough, i think i might change his job.
7) theo's attending a community college, no major yet he's just focusing on getting his gen ed credits done and out of the way
8) halloween is his favorite holiday, and he likes most candy but twizzlers are his favorite. he hates pistachios though. anything that's got pistachios he will not touch. he would absolutely hate dubai chocolate lol
9) theo is. really bad at gauging how age appropriate horror stories might be (which is why he ends up accidentally scaring his niece and nephew in the beginning of book 1. they both asked for a scary story and he figured they wouldn't get scared too bad since it was a story his manman used to tell him all the time when he was their age)
