February is American Heart Month. Hopefully, on February 3rd you encouraged all of your friends to wear red to raise awareness about women and heart disease. Every year 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease and it continues to be the leading cause of death for both men and women. Often heart disease can be prevented by making healthier decisions when it comes to your eating habits.
