A second chance romance that evokes all the emotions! It’s an emotional, heartwarming tale that will make your heart race and butterflies flutter in your stomach as he finally finds the one he let slip away, but this time, he won’t let her go!
This is Gunner Woods & Aubrey Hale’s Journey and my heart couldn’t stop cheering these two on!
Gunnar Woods, a musician on a North American tour, was struggling to maintain his composure and fight the same battles he had been facing for years. His addiction to pills, stemming from an old ATV accident, had taken a toll on his well-being. Despite the magical connection he felt with a woman he met during the tour, he feared the consequences if she became too close to him, fearing that she might be consumed by the same forces that were affecting him. So he walked away.
Aubrey Hale was a chef in Atlanta when their paths first crossed, two long years ago at a concert in Atlanta. She thought their time together had been something magical and special until she woke up alone. Now Aubrey, Charly and Willow had renovated a place in Timber Falls “The Naked Moose” and who walks in but Gunnar Woods. How could fate bring him back to her again? So she lied and said it wasn’t her when he questions her. But she didn’t fool him, he had never forgotten her and their time together.
He might’ve lost this battle, but the war was far from over.
These two characters had me sighing and swooning as they reconnected. She finally got to see the new and improved Gunnar and discovered the reason behind his departure years ago. Their electric attraction and chemistry were palpable, and their HEA was finally achieved. I absolutely love this series!
