Trying to tackle my financial issues.
Starting with the little things like using my online banking app, spending cash when I go out instead of my card, switching to normal coffees instead of lattes, buying gum in bulk, etc. I'm also finding some pretty cool resources online, thought I'd share them with you:
http://www.mint.com/blog/ This has an article for just about everything, and even has this cool online budgeter that you can hook up directly to your bank account. It will track all your savings and expenses and help you keep track of anything financial you assign it to. There's a lot of informational articles and a full section of how-to's for just about anything.
http://ideas.thenest.com/money-advice.aspx This has a bunch of advice for savings, insurance, debt management, and a lot of financial things more geared towards couples but are still helpful for single young people like myself. A lot of it focuses on ways you could cut down and helping you focus on what's important.
http://www.wholeliving.com/136755/green-home-guide This entire site is all about staying environmentally friendly, but this particular part of the site is about keeping the house green. It can be expensive at first, but it saves you money in the end. It has simple advice like switching to reusable napkins and towels instead of buying paper ones. The great thing is it doesn't have to be done all at once, you can make the changes little by little and save more money as time goes on.
Hope this helped some of you!
