Note for Future Girlfriends:
Following everyone who's in your "boyfriend's" orbit will always seem forced and desperate, never organic. Remember that you're supposedly dating someone very private. Leaving no clues on social media is key.

Over the past five days I have watched and re-watched clips of promotions, the premier the after party. I've read the comments, the positive and negative . Read the thoughtful and intelligent posts about it all. A bit embarrassed about having some different perspectives. However as a very long time Sam watcher I'll risk sharing.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe Sam has taken anyone to an OL premiere since S1 part 1 when he took Amy so I found this one interesting. I've read that the gf looked " lost". I saw something different. An extremely confident woman who went directly to his side. Who knows if the buzz was planned or not it was a bit of a fizzle. What I did notice was the hand on his back. We've seen it before, at the distillery opening, SUA. Always her hand on his back . Many interpretations to that. For a child it's reassuring, an elderly person, security, safety. Or a partner's brief affection or if constant, control. Then he's off, to work . It was brief but successful the fans cameras out saw what she needed, the kiss the hands , "he's mine".
People this is not her first rodeo. Both of her husbands had their own fans. Certainly hockey fans can be rambunctious but they are no match for Sans fans. However she knew what to expect. I read harsh criticism of Sam for not buying her a new dress which is rather laughable. Does anyone think she wasn't fully aware she looked gorgeous? Perhaps he likes it. Then we have the short murky after party video with Sam being Sam full speed. Nothing to see here she's scurrying to catch up to him drink in hand. I wondered if he was still in work mode. It was the after party but Sassenach was on the menu there were promotions and bartending to be done.
The New Girlfriend (2014) ★★★★★★★☆☆☆
Acabo de ver: The New Girlfriend (2014) #plex
I’ve recently been working with ‘Substance’ a company promoting the release of foreign language and art house films in the UK. Commissioned to create an alternative poster for ‘The New Girlfriend’ by Fraçois Ozon. It’s certainly one of the stranger films i’ve seen this year but full of interesting tension for a poster. The final design I ended up with was quite a simple image, referencing the changing vision of the lead character, as well as their physical transformation; with sunglasses providing both a disguise and a new perspective - a theme I took directly from the film.
I’ve now got a few other commissions to keep me busy so i’ll no doubt be posting again soon.

François Ozon "The new girlfriend"
I was in company with two charming t-girls and we went to the new film of François Ozon "The new girlfriend". The film is about a transvestite. For me it's difficult to criticize this film because I know very well the subject from the inside. I am not sure if this film shocked, surprised or explained well the subject for people who never heard or dealt with this community. In my opinion it is plausible. The reality of the matter was heard behind us with some "oh sh*t!" and the man next to me sighed when they showed something unusual at the begining. Anyway the film passed the Bechdel test and generally it's quite feminist: it's about women, about woman's friendship, about women's pride and, OF COURSE, the desire to be a woman! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Girlfriend_(film)
