I don't even think Bash would approach the Kenna situation looking for something romantic. Im thinking maybe a friendship or alliance of sorts. Just something amicable.

That's what I think, too. I don't see Bash going to her for anything romantic or sexual? Idk. Everyone seems very intent on the idea, though, Fraries and Mashers alike. I absolutely have no idea where the show intends to take it. They haven't promoted Bash and Kenna in a romantic way, and it seems like the intent WAS for us to get upset over the wedding and view the whole thing as cruel (which is why one portion of the fandom is constantly shocking me with their ~*~stars in our eyes~*~ response to it). Which is also probably why I'm hoping they keep the Bash x Kenna angle as purely platonic. Because if it was meant to upset us, how are we supposed to feel if things escalate between them? I personally won't like it, tbh.

I think there will be awkwardness to begin with, but Bash just isn’t an awkward person, so he’ll keep things moving. And I think they’ll have more pressing matters to worry about in the upcoming episodes, with the Pagans going after Mary because Bash interrupted their sacrificial ritual.
