Some photos of Egypt from space. We Egyptians are still settling around the Nile River, exactly like we have been doing since ancient times. That beautiful river that runs in the heart of our country is like a magnet to us, and it has always been, which is due to our background as an agricultural-based civilization and an agricultural society. The lights trace our settlement around the Nile in the shape of a beautiful flower. I think if I squint really hard I may be able to pinpoint the light dot that represents the Egyptian village where I’m from.
