Gaia felt her head spinning from the sudden turn of events. Many thing had happened in the span of a day. She’d been looking for the hole in the barrier between her world and the world inhabited by the magic creatures. The faeries. Long before her time they had decided to live separately but stories had made her curious. The land of the fae sounded wonderous to her so when her curiosity got the better of her she found herself captured.

She knew the ones who had taken her were fae but she was confused as to why they didn’t just scare her off, away from the border. Why had they taken her? When she could see again, she was in a dimly lit room and night had fallen. “What am I doing here?” she asked to whomever it was lingering in the shadows.

She'd been worried about her friend for days. Usually when he disappeared, he never really disappeared because he sent her text messages or something to let her know where he was, or what woman he'd gotten involved with. It was so hard for her to see him with each woman, not quit his type but it wasn't like she knew if she was. Damon never looked at her like she was more than a friend, a little sister of sorts and this always made her cringe.

Biting down on her lower lip, Karina stood at his door, trying to figure out what she'd say if he was there with someone. HIs flings never understood who she was, how close they were and that, friend or lover, he'd always pick her over them.

As her small hand balled up to make a fist and knock, the door opened and he stood there. Something was different, but she couldn't put her foot on it. All she knew what there'd never been a moment in her life that she felt more scared and turned on. She should have turned around and left but instead, she stepped closer to him as she walked into his apartment. Her body came in contact with his and he felt so warm.

"Damon, are you alright. I thought maybe you'd went on holiday with that brunette you were seeing a few weeks ago. You didn't answer your phone and I got worried."

things between babs and harley were more than complicated. their affair, sneaking around behind the joker and batman's backs. it was a lot to keep up with but harley was more than happy to do so. she walked into her apartment she kept to see barbara, "hey! oh my god, i got some news for ya!!" she said kind of excitedly.

˖ ✶ Samantha Weaver was not one to believe in soulmates. It didn't matter that their name was on her shoulder and she could never wear short sleeves without having to use make up to cover up said name. She also didn't care that she found them somewhat attractive. It would never work out. And what if they had someone else's name instead? Or had no name at all. Sam had heard of that happening, after all.

Currently she was at home, short sleeved shirt on since she had no plans of going out that night and no plans to have anyone over when the doorbell rang and she answered it without thinking of the repercussions. "What are you doing here?" She questioned, raise of an eyebrow.

Something was off. Aside from the obvious (but hopefully not too obvious) tension whenever she was in the same room as Jordyn. Carter tried to ignore it, tried to act normal, tried to push away the ever present desire for the other. It had been weeks since the night they'd spent together. The night Carter constantly thought about. Just being around Jordyn sent flutters to her stomach. And then to make matters worse, Carter had gotten sick the last week or so. Or at least that had been her assumption when the fatigue and nausea and vomiting had began. But the illness persisted. It didn't feel like a normal illness, it felt... Off.

And then her period was late. Carter counted the days and weeks back, back to that drunken night with Jordyn. The next hour was a blur of going to the pharmacy, buying a test (or three), locking herself in the bathroom at home, peeing on the sticks, waiting, waiting, waiting, and then staring at the three positives staring back at her. She stared for what felt like hours before snatching all the tests up and running to Jordyn's bedroom door.

She banged on the door, hoping the urgency of it would hurry her stepsister into opening the door. Chest heaved to regulate her breathing as the door opened. Carter offered no greeting or warning as she blurted out,

"I'm pregnant."

"What? That's absolutely ridiculous." It wasn't possible and she would not entertain the thought. "I was classified as a Beta a long time ago. This place is swarming with Omegas so what makes you think I'm one of them?" Although she was always the first to stand up for Omega rights, she knew how hard it was to live like one when you are as independent as she was. "Stop sniffing me! Its bad to let the kids think its okay for Alpha's to do that."
