she hadn’t seen the nolan family in quite awhile. with cameron turning one, and learning to walk and saying a few words, peyton had been at home with him, teaching him more words, and watching him walk around. he was the most precious thing in her life, the one good thing that came out of her life, and her heart melted on him every time she looked at him. he was a shy little man, always clinging to her leg when they were out shopping, because with cameron just learning to walk, he wanted to walk everywhere. but he did often detour to others, waving at them and saying hello, and that had peyton smiling more. it was why she was here at the nolan manor right now, because she wanted him to get used to the family, after all; they were his family too.
she had him in her arm, resting on her hip while her other hand held his bag.”you excited cam?” she asks him, earning herself an eager nod of his head, and a small boyish yes, and peyton was kissing his forehead before she was knocking on their door, smiling more when she see’s nyx opening the door, and peyton’s hue was looking her up and down, always making sure her family was alright.”look at you. haven’t aged a day!” she jokes, before pulling nyx into a hug, because that was peyton, never one for personal space.”hope you don’t mind me just dropping in, but i thought, huh. haven’t seen my family in awhile, and i should probably let this guy get used to them.” she says, giggling before looking to cameron, and then back to nyx.”but seriously, you look amazing.”
