In a weird, twisted way, the death of Roscoe’s was probably one of the better things to happen to the male- financially speaking, of course. For almost a year, Roscoe had been struggling to find employment, being turned away pretty much as soon as the background check came into place. His father didn’t have a lot of money to give away after his death, but he was a landlord to a couple of apartment buildings, which led to Roscoe becoming the new superintendent for all those rent-payers. He was handy; or he could teach himself to be. It was the opportunity that he couldn’t turn away, or else he’d find himself living in the streets once more. With a box of tools that Ros was semi-familiar with at his side, he knocked at the door of the latest person to call for service, waiting until the door opened before speaking up. “You called? Got some issues going on with your plumbing, or something?”
