Do you prefer movies/tv, reading, or videogames and what's your favorite movie, book, or game?

the answer to "theo have you seen [insert movie]" is almost always no. as a hard of hearing and visually impaired person, movies are hard for me to engage with. i have to watch movies in a very specific way (sitting close to the screen, with high contrast subtitles and/or blaring volume) so it's just like?? a lot of effort. that said, i like pixar movies and also jurassic park movies. i liked all the jumanji movies new and old too

i love reading and have lots of tools to help me do so! i've always loved to read. i can't pick a favorite book, but i really really like simon sinek as an author lately! i'm also enjoying the bioshock: rapture novel but i'm not very far into it yet.

gaming is tough. the aforementioned problems with movies arise in games as well, plus my hands strongly dislike controllers and tend to lock up (the same reason i'm HoH is the same reason my hands are very very bad - bone/connective tissue disorder my beloathed) if i play too long. that said, i like pokèmon way too much bc it's my comfort game series. the fandom can get a little odd though unfortunately in my experience but that's what block buttons r for

i also enjoy stardew valley and minecraft. i'm working on bioshock and final fantasy IX rn and love them so far. it just takes me a long time to get through games 😭

also technically it wasn't part of the ask but i LOVE card games and board games and TTRPGs

hi theo, it’s your secret santa!! ❄️ I hope you’ve been well? first off I’m really excited that I got you, I love your content a lot, so my first round of questions is related to your creations: where do you get your inspiration from? how would you describe your own style? is there anything you’d like to try out in the future? what is most important to you in your creations (layout, colours, quality, fonts etc)? and lastly, what styles do you really enjoy seeing from others?

omg hi!! thank you so much that's so sweet🥹 for gfx i would say a lot of my inspiration comes from pinterest whether it's designs from other fan artists or magazines/ads from like the 40s and 50s. of course a lot of it also comes from people on here like @bandzboy, @scouped, and @wonwooridul and for gifs i think a lot of my inspiration for more complicated sets comes from @jeonwonwoo, and if there's anything specific i usually link to the set that inspired it in the caption!

for my gfx style i usually say it's collage? but i think it definitely varies in complexity from piece to piece i have no idea what i would call my giffing style😭 for my regular gifs i definitely love high contrast and vibrant colors, and for my more complicated stuff i guess you could say it's still kind of collage-esque

i would love to try more typography focused stuff because that's something i love to see but i think i need to take a class before i dive in by myself lmao

i would say above all what's most important is first fixing whitewash shdffhf. i've giffed the worst quality files but as long as i can make them look like living breathing people with enough noise it'll turn out fine lol. i definitely spend the most time on layout and picking fonts. usually when i go into a gifset or a gfx piece i have an idea of what color/s i want to highlight (eg my latest hongjoong gfx because of the pink tile i knew i wanted to make it pink themed). but yeah i guess maybe fonts! bc i feel like font choice can change the whole vibe of the piece

hmnnn for my favorite styles i really love styles like this because i have no idea how to pull it off💀 i think just in general tris's and lee's! tris does a lot of really amazing typography and like i said i really want to learn how to do it well, and lee has so many cool gfx that are kind of in line with my style but also their own really cool thing that i really admire and would love to get to the point where i can do smth similar
