Hi, just wanted to ask if they’ve confirmed varric to be romanceable? I’m asking for a friend

he knows she’s coming before she arrives, knows her better than he knows anyone else here right now; in his time, he’s seen her much more recently than any of the rest of them, so he’s more familiar with her than he would be with them after... so long.

the scent of anxiety isn’t unexpected, given the time he’s in; if he’s not mistaken, she hasn’t been back to the school since the incident with Jean he’s been told of, in this timeline, so he understands completely why she would be nervous, returning to the school, even in such different form than she left it, after its trip to Limbo before making its way to Central Park, of late.

with free reign of the school’s boundaries while they’re working to find a way to send the time-displaced Logan back to the future, the man in question goes to meet Dana at the edge of the grounds; he knows she’ll have questions, because he’s dead in this time, but he won’t be able to answer them, save for that he’s from a potential future, and he hopes that will be okay with her- he’s already causing enough danger, being back here at all, like the time-displaced Original Five’s intrinsically dangerous jaunt to the present day has been increasingly proving.

he shakes loose his thoughts and squints for her, hands dangling at his sides- he wonders if the strange future leotard he’s wearing will tip her off immediately, or if it will take a couple of minutes to realize- just as she’s not his Dana, he’s not her Logan... then again, he’s got grey in his hair and his beard, and their Logan never had that, so she’ll probably know right off.

It was rare for an MI5 agent and a Kingsman agent to ever interact, much less work together. But when missile codes disappear ( stolen, by the looks of things ) and end up with a Russian criminal keen on starting World War III, they really had very little choice. Seeing as the man responsible for the theft had ties to Richard Roper, an old ‘friend’ of his, he was the only agent who knew his way around that network. 

So much for early retirement.

Jonathan Pine Tristan waited for his contact in the cafe, stirring a few more drops of honey into his tea. As always, he was snappily dressed, his umbrella hooked on the edge of the table. The appointment was for 11AM, but he did like to be early.
