I am very cute and Theo has discovered bananas.

Today after work my orientation class had a happy hour and we hung out for nearly three hours talking and laughing and enjoying each other’s company. They’re pretty much all from our offices outside the US and they’re flying back out tomorrow and I am so so sad not to have their sweet company every day anymore but it’s been so fun bonding with them and so nice to have such a cool cohort when starting at a new company.

While I was sitting at happy hour my phone buzzed and it was THESE MAGNIFICENT PHOTOS from Ken of Theo licking a banana, so basically my day was made!

#catcamouflage #theo bending in with my skirt! This is a rare sight as Theo doesn’t often grace our laps with his presence, preferring to sit on the arm of the chair or - his favourite - sucking and padding a fleece blanket! He also likes to make a noise when he want to go out - invariably out of the lounge window! Friday:

So I only just thought about going to bed even though I have to wake up around eight because I made a new friend! We met yesterday and have been hanging out since! She is so sweet, little like me, and the same dual major of Theo/Cat! She lives a floor below me and we have been in my room talking about charismatic gifts and the will of God for over two hours and eating honey wheat pretzels. Around 11.45pm, she looked at me and said "It's getting to that point of the night where the word pretzels is funny..." I love Franciscan.
