People often seem to forget this but while the Theoi Project is a very useful resource, it definitely doesn't include all existing myths and myth variants. A lot is missing. Just because you can't find a particular detail on there, that's not proof it doesn't exist at all.
#conversely if you read something on there that is not an excerpt from an ancient source be highly skeptical#there is plenty of nonsense too#and also try not to base your understanding solely on out of context snippets of texts#because that is also a risk if theoi.com is your only source#thankfully it does provide many translated Greek and Latin works#ramblings#greek mythology#theoi.com#theoi project
