I used to dislike Ino in the first part, but as she got older, I could bear with her a little better! What do you like about her most?
*cracks knuckles*
okay, during the first part of naruto i used to dislike her too, until the backstory of her and sakura. she defended sakura from her bullies, not thinking about what that could do to her. she was the first one to tell sakura she’s beautiful. and even as a kid was she very strong (i mean mentally).
i mean, she’s a teenage girl, of course she overreacts, of course she wants the “prettiest boy” to be her boyfriend, of course she wants to be popular. she does have her flaws that’s true but she’s also an amazing kunoichi. even if she is too straight forward, im sure she doesn’t want to do you any harm, i’m sure she only wants the best for you, it just comes out wrong. she just voices her opinion and somtimes forgetting about others feelings.
in shippuuden, you see her noticing that sakura is one step infront of her, her frenemy, her rival and she imidetlly tries to catch up with her. she trains just as much as her and learns medical ninjutsu wich is really hard to master.
as for team 10, she is a very important member. shikamaru and choji are best friends and they tend to slack off and get lazy. ino is the one that kicks their asses when they are not doing what they should be doing. she’s kind of the backbone of the team since asumas death.my favourite part was in shippuuden, when they where about to fight edo tenseiid asuma. you see the three of them standing there, shikamaru and choji not really knowing what to do, if they actually have to fight asuma. ino simply puts her hand on their shoulders and says “let’s go.” and the two of them follow her. i think that shows a lot about her and a lot about the team.
she may not be the strongest kunoichi, but i still think she has an important part, especially in her team, and that she is an amazing character.
