"Be quiet, bitch!" That was what the Doctor found himself saying for the first time in years. Where had he been? What had lead him to towering over this person, one hand around their throat while the other was raised to slap them? He couldn't remember, couldn't understand why he had said such cruel words and seemed completely prepared to attack the person. "What happened?" He whispered, releasing their throat and taking a step back. "I only remember being on the TARDIS, I can't - I can't remember anything."
His eyes met fearful, familiar ones, and his hearts clenched in his chest. Had one of his enemies taken control of him to make him hurt his companion? "What happened?" He asked again. His mind was a complete mess. He felt dizzy, and confused, and like he'd been locked in some dark cave for a long time. "Did I touch you? Did I hurt you?" He stepped forward, reaching a gentle hand out that had previously been aiming to hurt. "It's okay. It's okay now."
"I won’t let you give up."

"Well, it's a bit too late for that. I gave up a long time ago."
Count The Shadows
Eleven paced up and down in his Tardis, running his fingers through his hair and muttering to himself. He'd got back from a close run-in with the Daleks a few days ago, almost losing Amy and Rory to them. He hadn't seen them since as he still felt guilty about almost getting them killed. But he'd decided that he would visit them today, they were probably worried about him anyway. "Right. You can do this. It's just a simple flip of the switch and-" He flipped a couple of switches and pressed some buttons before pulling the main lever and grabbing onto the railings that surrounded the main control panel. He threw his head back and laughed as his Tardis purred into life.

The Tardis' centre stopped moving and the noises died down, signalling that Eleven had arrived at his destination: Amy's house. He pulled on his tweed jacket, adjusted his bowtie, took a deep breath and then stepped out of the door into what he thought was Amy's room. "Amy, I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. I was a little-" He paused as he looked around and noticed that he wasn't in Amy's room; he was in her bathroom. "Well, this is a bit of a tight squeeze old girl." He chuckled as he patted his machine. He then walked out of the bathroom and paused on the landing, listening for any signs of life in her home. "Amy?" He called.
